Well done, Julie. We knew this Gardasil was dangerous as soon as we first heard of it. A casual search of NZ Government websites at that early time explained its uselessness on young girls and the lack of proper research and the need to NOT rely on it, but take other measures as well. Two weeks later those website pages were gone! It certainly is a money spinner for the drug company.

Keep up the good work. Kiwi parents desperately need independents such as yourself willing to do the research.

My daughter is due to have her final injection on Thursday, having just read an article in our local newspaper i am really concerned.  Since having her second injection she has had severe muscle weakness in her arms, to the point she cant get dressed for school.. stomach pains all the time, and what seems to be overnight - warts growing on both her elbows...

I put all these symptoms down to growing pains as she is only 15... but after reading the article, I am absolutely terrified..

Shelley, don't do it.  What is put in, can't be taken out.  make sure that you take your daughter to the doctor, and insist that anything that has happened to her after both vaccinations, are reported to CARM.

So many young girls are not being listened to because doctors are saying that it's just adolescent acting up.  "Typical teenagers".  Well, it's not.  When teens act up, they are perfectly "normal" away from their parents, and when their friends, notice a big difference in them, it's not acting out.

So many girls have been sent to a headshrink, when the only person who needs their head shrunk are medical personnel who are refusing to see what's in front of their eyes.

Get some paper, sit down with your daughter, and write out everything that's happened in the last six months.  Do nothing further, until your daughter is back to normal, and even then, think twice.

My daughters friends mother is a doctor who decided not to vaccinate her own daughter as she didn't consider that enough research/trials had been done over enough time. That was enough advise for me - I  never had my 2 daughters vaccinated.

I admit I am a health professional but that does not mean I’m completely pro vaccines.  I don’t think we do a good job explaining the risks.  All medicines and vaccines have side effects and sometimes they can be serious.  As a patient or  parent you never think it will be you that is the 1 in a hundred or 1 in a thousand or 1 in a million.

However, I am disturbed by some of the reports I have read on your site.  In several cases I think there are better explanations for the symptoms people are describing.

I think we forget how painful vaccinations can be.  Having a medicine injected into your arm muscle can make it ache badly for a few days especially if the nurse had the needle at the wrong angle.  Having swollen, sore lymph glands will also happen, that is how the body makes the white blood cells to provide immunity.   Young children can get very out of sorts after their vaccinations and it is no different for teenagers.

Bell’s Palsy is usually associated with the cold sore virus or sometimes cold or flu viruses when they infect nerves in the face.  It is very rarely linked to vaccines and when it has, it has been linked to influenza vaccines. I honesty can’t see how it could be related to Gardasil as this particular vaccine does not contain any live virus that could cause infection.

I feel very sorry for the mum whose daughter died.  I watched Close Up and read some of the newspaper reports. My first thought when I read it in the paper was the depo contraceptive as the symptoms she described are known side effects including lack of concentration, confusion, fatigue, night sweats, heart palpitations, loss of appetite etc.  Look at the information on depo provera and you can see this for yourself.

I hope the Coroner confirms the cause of death soon so the family can have some peace of mind.

No, you don't do a very good job explaining anything much actually.  Yes, Depo has reactions, and do you explain those to girls either? 

But there is one thing you don't know, and that is that behind the scenes, we have a growing list of kids in this country with serious problems after Gardasil, and many of those symptoms you so swiftly dismiss as being "Depo" related, are happening in very young children, not even of an age to be on depo.

Why doctors would prescribe depo, which has hugely high levels of polysorbate 80 - something which is used to coat other drugs and drag them through the blood brain barrier, completely beats me.  These young girls trust health professionals, and YOU (generically) totally lets these kids down.  YOU (generically) blame everything on "being a teenager" or whatever suits the moment.  YOU (generically) have no solutions for these kids.

Your answer is to send them to head-shrinks - to tell them they have "typical" eating disorders, when they don't.

I made my daughter sit down and watch Close Up and the segment on Gardisil with me last week.  I wanted her to watch the programme because she went ahead and without my consent, received two HPV vaccinations during the latter part of 2009.  I was unaware at the time that these injections had been given as I was not informed due to her being 16 years of age.  It was really just to teach her that at 16 you need to make informed decisions.  However, I had no idea that it was myself who was going to get some answers.

Krystal was a vibrant, energetic, sporty, positive young woman at 16.  I remember her saying to me one afternoon after I picked her up from school about 12 months ago.  "Thank you Mum for having me".  She has played rep Netball for the past 6 years as well as her Saturday team and includes herself in Basketball, Touch, Swimming and generally anything that is being played. 

Healthwise everything deteriorated rapidly for her mid November 2009 although she had been suffering from mild forms for several weeks prior they weren't anything like we were about to experience. 

These ailments now ranged from extremely severe migraines, muscle aches and pains, cold sweats, temperatures, nausea, lack of appetite, extreme fatigue and extreme moods.  She also could not think clearly and did some bizaare things which were totally out of character for her.  She did complain once of tingling in her hands.  Her lack of attendance at school had me at the point where I didn't ring the school anymore to inform them.  She also did not sit her two exams either in December.

She became very hostile and totally unreasonable to deal with.  I even mentioned to friends and family that I would gladly have a houseful of teenagers any day than deal with what I have in the house at the moment.  If she wasn't sleeping off an aggressive migraine, she was sleeping because she was so exhausted.  I honestly thought she was going through a "teenage itis" period, only this was an extreme one.  Prior to her becoming unwell Krystal did suffer from migraines but they were manageable, these other ones were not.  I use the word extreme as everything she suffered from completly knocked her flat.  Several times I checked in on her when she was sleeping just to make sure she was still alive.  She wouldn't even do simple jobs around the house.  Around Christmas 2009 Krystal asked if she could find some Happy Pills and I agreed to this as she was showing all the signs of severe depression and I was at a loss to help her.  She would tell me on several occasions she couldn't eat and hadn't for two days.  Krystal was given Citalopram hydrobromide Ta 20mg by her doctor on the 8 Jan 2010.  She was taking 3 a day for approximately 2 weeks then stopped as she couldn't tolerate them anymore.  I tried to explain to her to only take one but was ignored.  I tried to get her to see someone to talk about whatever was bothering her but she refused.

Krystal also had a Rep Netball Camp mid January to attend but could not go to this as by this time there were little signs she was slowly recovering but still too unwell to participate. 

Now after watching Close Up, it all fits.  The injections given all match up with her health decline and her refusal to speak to someone because there was "nothing" wrong.  By nothing I mean a situation causing her to become depressed, only a reaction to the vaccination triggering a downward spiral of her health.  As we had no idea that this was the case, we assumed there were situations in Krystal's life that she was unable to control or as the doctor puts it "unresolved issues" but looking back, I do believe the medical profession do not want to make the connection between HPV and serious health problems, it is far easier to put it down to unresolved issues that is causing depression in an otherwise fit and healthy young lady. 

The vaccination may be a trigger in distorting thoughts as well. 

It scares me to think what may have happened had we not seen this programme and I thank Rhonda and Stevie for speaking up and making us aware.  Krystal was due for her third injection and I have now made the Nurse put an alert on the computer and under no circumstances is she to receive this.  Krystal may have been another statistic.  I believe they have saved her life and my heart and prayers go out to Rhonda.

It is widely recognised that various diseases are due to chromosomal abnormalities.  This means that the nature and structure of the chromosome has been altered and that it no longer behaves as it should. Such changes of the chromosome conformation would alter protein expression - rather like a jig-saw in which the square piece normally fits into the square hole but that changes to the way the jig-saw fits together, perhaps by the wrongful insertion of one piece which can alter whether other pieces would fit into their rightful place.

There is a new research specialism: epigenetics, which is hugely relevant. The most significant being that of epigenetics because it is increasingly recognised that all DNA, genes and chromosomes react with components from the external environment. This means that there are chemical groups which attach to your genetic material.  Moreover the nature of these attached groups influences the way that the DNA, gene or chromosome functions.  If one sugar is replaced by another it affects your function, if a heavy metal such as Mercury becomes attached it affects your function, methyl (and other) groups are attached, etc.  What is significant is the vaccinations are designed to introduce virusses or parts of virusses into your DNA. This means that each particle, a huge chemical lump by comparison to most other chemical groupings, MUST inevitably influence the structure of the DNA. Furthermore the more virusses that are added at any one time the greater will be the deformation, perhaps to the extent that it causes structural mutations which irreversibly influence protein expression - which is what we see with vaccines. Each vaccine suppresses the expression of immune chemicals such as b-cells, t-cells and immunoglobulins.  If so, the rate at which the body's immune function can deal with a disease, irrespective of whether a naturally occuring disease or a modified virus (as in vaccines) will be dramatically impaired.  The question at stake becomes: what effect will virusses have upon the child's normal physiology?  It MUST have some effect.
Such structual alterations could influence the body's ability to recognise a viral pathogen but instead could respond to another similar virus (a vaccine?). It means that the way in which vaccines are given (timing, multiple applications, etc) will alter the way that the body responds.

This is a sound scientific argument. Let scientific research prove the issue.  Medical research cannot have it both ways i.e. justifying an argument to explain the occurence of disease and then rejecting the same argument when it is used to justify the occurence of vaccine induced pathologies.

Congratualtions on putting together this web site. It's great to see someone standing up to the lies and hypocracy of the Ministry of Health and their minions. I see in the article in the Press dated 04.02 that the Ministrys officials are making the claim that "no teenage deaths have been linked to the drug".

This is just a big fat lie. The last figures I saw where 27 deaths and over 15,000 adverse reactions. (That is just in the USA). I wrote a letter to several of the suburban newspapers in Christchurch some time ago but none of them were game to print it. (Probably worried that they would lose the advertising revenues from the Ministry of Health if they did.) I still have it on file if you would like to see it. I also have on file a video by Jenny Thomson from HSI which is very powerful. You may have already seen it but if not just send me your e-mail address and I will send it to you.

It's a tough battle taking on the corruption in the medical field and I admire your efforts. If I can do anything to help please let me know.

Hi. Thursday am I had the vacc in my left arm. By Saturday am the lymph node(?) under that arm was so sore that it woke me and pain meds didn't help. This went on for several days and was followed by recurring exhaustion: eg Within 45mins of waking I would be back on top of the bed needing to sleep again.

When I reported this to the nurse she did not attribute it to the vacc at all. Apparently I must have been coming down with something when she administered the shot...

I agree with you Lorraine. My 13 year old had the vaccination in Nov 09. Within days after, she had signs of Bells Palsy. She has always been a healthy happy girl. We took her to the hospital and when I asked the doctor if it was at all possible that this was a reaction to the vaccination, there was no comment at all. Parents, we are sharing our experiences so you do not go through what some families have been. There is so much pressure to have this vaccination, but I will certainly not let my girls have any more. Our children are being used as lab rats.

I think it is a shame that in this country certain people are putting out information that is not based on evidence which causes parents to doubt the safety of vaccines which are actually one of the most important wellness interventions available and have saved many many lives since they were first introduced.
As a parent I used to be frightened by statements made by people such as Hilary Butler, and I actually thought these people knew what they were talking about.
I have now learnt the truth, that the opinions put out by Hilary Butler and IAS are merely opinions and have no fact or evidence to support them.
Parents should believe that health professionals are the best source of information on facts which are based on true evidence.

 Both my wife and I are very saddened to hear of your sad loss , however we are very angered that we sent an e mail to mark sainsury and close regarding this vaccination and the associated risks, we did not even get a reply, we are from the u.k and had heard about the risks before coming to new zealand and therefore refused to let our daughter have it.
Had people listened and even as much looked at the evidence we provided to close up we feel not many parents pould allow this to be done to their daughters.

I understand and sympathise with your concerns.  Whether or not to vaccinate is a hard decision for many parents.

Sites such as yours however do not add anything to the debate, rather they confuse the issue.  Your site provides no evidence against gardasil yet you criticise the product unfairly.

For example, your article on Borax is both factually correct in detail and misleading on account of the facts that you have chosen to leave out and the speculation you have left in.  I suggest you contact CSL politely and ask them about the inclusion of borax in the vaccine rather than guessing. 

The poor girl who died almost certainly died of something other than the vaccine.  Of course you can't prove that, but until you can prove that the vaccine was responsible, you should alter the tone of your message.

All you will achieve through this site is to increase anxiety.  It will not save lives and may well cost them. There is no conspiracy.  The government and its health agencies actually does have the health of the population at heart.  They are not in the pocket of big business and it was really difficult to get them to fund this life saving vaccine.

Why don't you take the time to discuss any concerns you have with your GP.  Your doctor is independent and may be willing to assist you in deciding which concerns you have are based on fact and which on the misleading (and sometimes mischievous) information published elsewhere on the net.

I would also advise you not to use google ads as you will, if you look, find that they are linking to various sites which either have a contrary message to yours or are merely a con (weight loss sites)  To use this to fund your work will devalue it.

There is too much evidence gathered from the eugenics movement over more than a century not to suspect that vaccines such as HPV are in fact designed to harm the population and induce mass infertility.

I have just read an awesome interview on the Uncensored website with a Canadian academic - Dr Andrew Moulden. This is the best and most informative stuff I've ever read, he has created ways to prove the damage caused by all vaccinations and once you see it there is basically no denying it. This is the stuff I will be taking with me to the doctor next time they pressure my wife or I over our "failure" to vaccinate our last child or to continue vaccinations for our first. They are good people and really believe that what they are doing is for the best. It is tragic. Actually I think I will show them anyway ASAP.

My daughter Stevie has had a nasty reaction to gardisal this year (you may have read about her)-  The reaction was minimised by a visit to a naturopath which is one and a half hours away.  She had one follow up session and I am taking her again next week as her immune system is still shot to pieces.  He was fantastic.  Please consider using alternatives because the main stream doctors can't help.  Our offspring are too precious to be left to fate, so we have to look for alternatives to help make our girls lives better.

Within a few days she started to become uncoordinated [noticed in particular by her ballet teachers] and had a collapse on day five. Over the next week we presented twice to the emergency ,where it was shown that she had symptoms similar to MS. These were left sided weakness and sensation changes, some abnormal reflexes ,an inability to walk straight as well as a severe headache, nausea and dizziness. The hospital did a cat scan [normal] and sent us home telling me the gardasil was not to blame and that it was probably just a bad migraine. After a couple of weeks I was able to see a private paediatrician who immediately consulted with a neurologist who had seen cases of demyelination following this injection. He ordered an urgent MRI which she had several days later. By this stage she was almost fully recovered and thankfully the MRI was normal. Needless to say she will not be having the third injection and I am telling anyone who will listen our story. I am angry that I was not informed about potential side effects as well as kicking myself for not doing the research prior to going ahead with the vaccination. I am of course also worried about potential side effects that may show themselves in the future. My heart goes out to other girls and their parents who have suffered as well and I hope that my story may raise awareness so that parents can make an informed decision.

Gardasil seems quite destructive.

I am writing in reguard to the Gardisal Vaccine.  I know that people have already been questioning this vaccine but I would like to take a different angle on it.

What are the ingredients in Gardisal?

Highly purified protiens from HPV types 6,11,16 and 18
Aluminium
Sodium Chloride
L-Histidine
Polysorbate 80 (tween 80)
Borax (Boric Acid)
Water for injection

Gardisal only protects you against 9% of HPV strains, would you use a contraception that only protects you 9% from getting pregnant?

Polysorbate 80 helps the delivery of other drugs to pass accross the blood-brain-barrier, to get to the brain.  Is this what causes there to be 1 in 150 children to have austism or the 1 in 6 children who have developmental and learning disabilities? This is in most vaccines.

Why has this Vaccine got Boric Acid in it?  Boric Acid is an insecticide used for killing cocroaches and other insects.

Because of California Prop 65 (Safe drinking water and toxic enforcment act of 1986) Borax have done extensive testing on Boric Acid indicating that an association between adverse reproductive effects in humans and the toxic agent in question is biologically plausible, they discovered a decrease in sperm count and the stopping of embryonic development in animals.

Boric Acid is a dangerous chemical to be injecting into our teenages and I believe that this ingredient is linked to the deaths of many girls whos only common denominator is Gardisal.  One girl from the USA Jenny Tetlock recieved Gardisal at 15, was paralyzed and passed away on the 15/03/09 just a few weeks ago, God Bless Her.  So far two other girls have been paralyzed and Merck the company that distributes this vaccine is facing two major law suits.

If one person was murdered the government would search and search untill they found who did it, not send the murderer out to possibly murder again, so why are they not researching these deaths further instead of ignoring the deaths and promoting the vaccine.

There have been more then a dozen deaths among the serious adverse events of otherwise healthy girls.

A month ago Spain recalled 76,000 doses of the HPV Vaccine when two adolescent girls had seizures and got seriously sick after getting their shot, the point is Spain responded immediatly, why does'nt our government do the same? does Spain care about their children more then we do?

Boric Acid is known to make rats infertile, is there some kind of hidden agenda behind this vaccine? 

Consumers have the wright to all knowledge before making this decision to get their children vaccinated against HPV and I do not believe that all the information reguarding this vaccine has been made availible.

I have an 8 year old son and even though this does'nt affect me it could in the future in many ways, I may never become a grandparent because of infertility this vaccine could cause.

Something needs to be done before it is to late.

Please help me do so.

 My cousin who is 15 years old had the first Gardasil injection through her school four weeks ago, she fainted at the time of the injection. 2 days after the injection she became very fatigued, had trouble moving her limbs and had swollen glands in her neck. We all thought she had sever glandular fever but she got worse and worse sleeping around 18 hours a day. She was taken to a doctor who tested her for lymphatic cancer and other illnesses and all the tests came back negative, he then believed her to have chronic fatigue. In the beginning none of us put two and two together and then started doing some research into the vaccine and other adverse reactions from women overseas. 

Really we are just trying to establish 'where to from here'. Are there other people in New Zealand who have had similar reactions? Is there anything we can do for her to help her feel better? Is there anyone we can talk to who will actually listen about concerns towards the vaccine? We understand it 'might not' be the vaccine but it's seems like a big coincidence, especially with the uncertainties about the vaccine which are openly displayed in the FDA report.

I hope someone can help.

Why on earth do these pharmaceutical companies put such things as borax (used here in NZ, amongst other things, as ant poison [no longer allowed to the public] and a component of detergent) and aluminium into their vaccines?
