GSK hosted a speaker in our community last night which has spawned discussions in our office this morning.  As public health nurses we are faced with an issue that is ever more complex and the dilema we face in advising parents and young people is ominous.  Our primary goal is do no harm, obviously, and prevention of communicable disease is paramount.  How do we assimilate pharma "speak" into practical, reasonable, sound advise for our patients?  Can you help us?
